Stampin' Up! Blossoms in Bloom Gift Tags

Thanks for popping in!  I'm sharing a really quick and easy project with you all today.

Recently I needed to make a gift tag but rather than just one, I decided I would make a few.  Because, you know, you just never know when you may need one down the track, right?!

Taking a four inch strip of whisper white card stock, I went and stamped a line of the smaller flowers from the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp set in second generation Rococo Rose ink, leaves in Seaside Spray ink, and the flower centre in Sahara Sand ink.  To add a little texure, I took the dotty stamp in the Forever Fern Stamp Set and stamped randomly also in Sahara Sand ink.

I then went and cut that piece into 2" strips and punched the top end to create tags.

I decided to make a second tag to fit behind the stamped one so that I would have somewhere to write a small message.  For this I used the other half of my sheet of Whisper White card stock.

To finish off, I used co-ordinating ribbon to join the top and bottom sections together. Honestly, this part took the longest.

Supplies needed for this project:
  • 1 sheet Whisper White card stock: 4" strip for the stamped images on top, and remainder for the section to write on underneath
  • Blossoms in Bloom stamp set
  • Forever Fern stamp set - or any stamp set you have with a dotty image
  • Inks:  Rococo Rose, Soft Sea Foam, Sahara Sand
Here is a version with the flowers stamped in Daffodil Delight!

The inks and the Delightful Tag Topper Punch used to  create the gift tags are available now in my store.  The Blossoms in Bloom and Forever Fern stamp sets will be available from 3rd June.

Thanks for stopping by and please, if you have any questions, please pop them in the comments below and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
