Colour INKspirations Challenge #105 is now open over on our Colour INKspiration Challenge Facebook Page. The photo for this challenge was picked by fellow Crew Member, Jan Clothier and our Guest Designer this challenge is the very talented Melodie Viljoe.
I took on board the floral/spring vibe with my card - it's almost Spring Time here in Queensland Australia - and used the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle along with the Artistic Dies. This is a slim-line card, almost monochromatic but with a hint of colour sneaking from under the die cut. Linen Thread and Elegant Faceted Gems were added to finish off.
Supplies Needed:
- Hand Penned Petals Bundle
- Artistic Dies
- Very Vanilla Cardstock
- Inks: Mango Melody, Fresh Freesia, Old Olive, Sahara Sand
- Stampin' Blends: Mango Melody Combo Pack (retired)
- Embellishments: Linen Thread, Elegant Faceted Gems
- Adhesives: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals
- Tools: Paper Trimmer, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Acrylic Blocks (B, C, E)
Card Assembly:
Do the same again for the detailed floral die in Penned Flowers Dies.
Create a slim-line card base and a layer measuring 1/4" smaller on two sides than your card front.
Arrange the die cuts and adhere with Tombow Glue.
For embellishment, add a double bow and a few faceted gems.
Attach this to your card base with Dimensionals.
