Pierced Blooms Wreath - World Card Making Group

Hello my crafty friends! Welcome and thanks for popping in!

Today I'm sharing a card that I've created for a challenge over on World Card Making Group.  This month (March) our Challenge is Flowers and as I was a bit short of time, I went and grabbed the Pierced Blooms Dies and the pack of New Horizons 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper for a really quick and easy card with a wreath design. The papers in this pack are amazing and are quite conducive to quick card making.

New Horizons 6" x 6" Papers

 Supplies:

  • Dies:  Pierced Blooms Dies
  • Cardstock:  Basic White Thick
  • DSP:  New Horizons 6" x 6"
  • Embellishments:  2021-23 In Colour Jewels, Linen Thread
  • Tools:  Paper Trimmer, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
  • Adhesive:  Tombow Liquid Glue, Mini Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

Assembly:

Create a card base in Basic White Thick.
Trim a piece of DSP to 1/8"  less on two side than the card front.  This will give you a narrow 1/16" border on all four sides.
Glue this to the card front.
Take a second sheet of DSP for the die cuts.

Die cut enough pieces to create a wreath.

Glue the smaller flower pieces to the larger flowers to create a contrasting centre.

Arrange the die cuts and either glue them with Tombow Liquid Glue or if you would like dimension, attach with Mini Dimensionals.

Add Jewels to the centres of each flower and create a bow and attach this with a Mini Glue Dot.
I didn't add a greeting or sentiment to the front as I didn't want to cover up the beautiful flowers.

Thank you so much taking the time to drop in. I hope I have inspired you and if you like what I have shown or if you have any questions, please leave them in the comments section below.

Take care, stay safe and have a great day!
