Amazing Thanks

Hello my crafty friends!  Welcome to my Blog and thanks for stopping by.

It's  time to say 'thank you' again and today I'm sharing a card as part of Kylie's International Project Highlights. It features a fussy cut image from the Perfectly Pencilled papers and I've paired it with Amazing Thanks Dies, naturally.  The Layering Designs Vellum also gets to share the spotlight.

The main image has been fussy cut and then coloured with the Pool Party and Old Olive Stampin' Blends.   This was attached with Dimensionals to a piece of the Layering Designs Vellum which has been die-cut with one of the scalloped rectangles from Scalloped Contour Dies.  A piece of Basic Black cardstock was run through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Stitched Greenery Die for extra background texture which was mounted onto a Pool Party mat layer.  This was glued to a Basic White Thick card base.

The 'thanks' was die cut in Basic White for the word and Vellum for the shadow and attached with Tombow Liquid Glue.

I added a few of the blue Iridescent Pastel Gems to the front for a little bit of sparkle.

To complete the card, I fussy cut two smaller lined images from the same paper pack and glued them into the top left and bottom right corners of a piece of Basic White cardstock and matted this onto a piece of Basic Black with a small 2mm (1/16") border.

The paper I used has been designed with hand-drawn florals and graphic/geometric patterns and also includes gorgeous neutral patterns for every occasion. If you love the designs but still want some colour, the outline designs are perfect for trying your hand at colouring - which is what I did!
