Welcome and thanks for popping in!
Our second Stampin' Around The World Video Hop has kicked off and this month we've been tasked to include vellum in our projects. I can't wait to go and see what everyone has created.
For my card, I've dry embossed a piece of vellum using the Timeworn Type which has been matted onto a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. This embossing folder is a 3D product and you will need to use the Specialty Plate when putting it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. This was adhered to a Basic White Thick card base. The focal piece was created using the two largest square dies from Stylish Shapes together to make a frame. This was attached to the card front using Foam Adhesive Strips.
Using the Bough Punch, I punched a large twig in Pool Party cardstock and a smaller twig in Basic White cardstock. Both of these were adhered using Tombow Liquid Glue. Two flowers, one in Basic White and a second in Vellum were layered with a Mini Dimensional in between and was attached over the foliage with a Glue Dot. An Iridescent Pearl was placed in the centre.
The sentiment from Notes Of Nature Stamp Set was stamped in Early Espresso ink on a strip of Basic White cardstock and trimmed. This was attached to the card front using Foam Adhesive Strips.
A small bow using Linen Thread was placed directly under the flower and three more Iridescent Pearls were added to complete the card front.
To finish inside, I matted a piece of Basic White cardstock onto a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and stamped the small floral image in the bottom left corner in 2nd generation ink. This was adhered into the centre.
