Thoughtful Expressions - Colour INKspirations Challenge #161

Hi and welcome!  And thanks for popping it!

Today I hope to inspire you with a card I have created for Colour INKspiration Challenge #161 over on Facebook.  For this challenge we have a colour palette I would describe as floral - two pink tones as well as a green.  The inspiration photo was chosen by our lovely Crew Member, Leonie Stuart and our Guest Designer for this challenge is???  I can't wait to go and see what everyone has created.

My card features the amazing Thoughtful Expressions Bundle.  This Bundle is very versatile - the stamp set has four different sentiments together with four different images that can be applied to many different occasions. The die set has 19 dies in total that include two sets of nesting dies together with dies to cut out all four images as well as stand alone dies that give your projects a definite wow! factor.

I began by stamping the larger floral image in StazOn ink onto Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and die-cut the image using the co-ordinating die.  Using a Blender Pen, I coloured the large flowers in Melon Mambo, the leaves in Garden Green and the smaller foliage in Moody Mauve.  A small amount of Gray Granite was added to the 'white spaces' between the flowers and leaves to add dimension.

I stamped a second image again in StazOn and coloured only the large flowers.  These were fussy cut and layered over the flowers on the original image.

A background was created using the stripes from the Splatters & Stripes 3D Embossing Folder duo.  Linen Thread was wrapped around this and then attached to a Basic White Thick cardstock card base with Dimensionals.

A circular label was die cut in Basic White using the second to largest die along with two sets of each leaf.  After attaching the coloured image to the label with Dimensionals, I tucked the die-cut leaves underneath and adhered these with Tombow.

To complete the front, I added three Iridescent Rhinestones to add some sparkle.

For the inside, I stamped and coloured the smaller floral image as before, die-cut using the co-ordinating die and adhered this to a piece of Basic White cardstock, trimmed down to fit inside the card.
