Simple Birthday Card - Colour INKspiration Challenge #164

Hello and thanks for popping in!

Welcome to Colour INKspiration Challenge #164.  Today we're paying homage to the 2022/2024 In-Colours which were such a bright and happy collection. While bright tones are not my usual go-to, they did have their place amongst all the other Stampin' Up! colours. The lovely Lou Kitzelman has chosen our inspiration photo and our Guest Designer this time around is ???.  I can wait to go and see what everyone have created.

For this Challenge, we have been asked to use at least one colour - I've used all five which wasn't as hard as you would think especially with the design I chose.  My card features the Radiating Stitches Dies and Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set.  This design would be great for older children, teenagers and even the men in our lives.

To create the background, I used a recycled cardboard roll, dipped in Early Espresso ink and 'stamped' down the right hand side of a piece of Basic White.  The sentiment was stamped in Starry Sky.

The die-cut circles were also arranged down the left-hand side, some were adhered directly to the cardstock and some were attached with Dimensionals.  I trimmed any overhand and adhered this to the card base.

I adhere one of each colour to a second piece of Basic White cardstock and adhered this to the inside of the card.

A video tutorial showing how I created this card can be seen on You Tube HERE

Just a reminder to use ALL the Challenge colours unless stated. If you don’t have the colours in our palette, feel free to use the closest Stampin’ Up! substitute – Poppy Parade instead of Sweet Sorbet for example. We also allow Ivory, Bronze and Natural Tones in the Stampin' Blends and Neutrals such as Basic White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Basic Beige and Metallics.

Thank you so much taking the time to drop in. I hope I have inspired you and if you like what I have shown or if you have any questions, please leave them in the comments section below.
