Stamp Your Own Designer Paper - Colour INKspiration Challenge #163

Hello and welcome!

Today I am sharing a stamped project that I've created for Colour INKspiration Challenge #163. The inspiration photo was chosen by myself and our Guest Designer for this Challenge is Teah Karr Woodwood and I can't wait to go and check out everyone's projects.

As we have five colours, I decided to do a little stamping, Artful Stampin with Ruth style.  The colours are bright and bold and I have used that to my advantage by using 1st, 2nd and even 3rd generation stamping to create depth and dimension.

I created two cards from this half-sheet but in my video, you'll see there were lots of other options.  I trimmed this down and matted one section on Starry Sky cardstock and the second onto Gorgeous Grape - which happens to be my favourite - and attached each of these to a Basic White Thick cardbase using Dimensionals.

Video tutorial showing more details can be seen on You Tube HERE

I stamped two sentiments from Sending Smiles Stamp Set using Starry Sky ink and die-cut each one using the Happy Little Dies which are available in the Online Exclusives section of my store HERE.  I added a little silver trim under the sentiment strips for a little something special.

Feel INKspired to join the challenge? I would love for you to join us! It's a great way to have fun with different colours!

If you'd like to join in with our Challenges, click here and ask to join Colour INKspiration, add the group to your Favourites and share it with your crafty friends so they can join in the fun too. We'd love to see what you create with these gorgeous colours! You don't have to have a Blog to participate but if you do, you can link back to your post.

Just a reminder to use all the Challenge colours. If you don’t have the colours in our palette, feel free to use the closest Stampin’ Up! substitute - Night of Navy instead of Starry Sky for example. We also allow Ivory, Bronze and Natural Tones in the Stampin' Blends and Neutrals such as Basic White, Basic Beige Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Black and Metallics.

Thank you so much taking the time to drop in. I hope I have inspired you and if you like what I have shown or if you have any questions, please leave them in the comments section below.

Until next time, take care, stay safe and have a great day!
