Enduring Beauty - Colour INKspiration Challenge #172

Hello and welcome!  And thanks for stopping by!

There's a new Colour INKspiration Challenge just kicked off over on Facebook and this Challenge has us using an almost complimentary colour palette with a neutral thrown in for good measure.  Our inspiration photo was chosen by myself and I can't wait to go and see what everyone has created.

For my card, I've combined the gorgeous Enduring Beauty Stamp Set, Dies and Masks with the Perennial Postage Dies. The large floral image was stamped in Pebbled Path, and using the Masks, the image was coloured using Peach Pie and Garden Green inks.

Taking the second to largest die from Perennial Postage, the image was die-cut and matted onto Pebbled Path and Peach Pie card stock allowing a small border on all four sides.

Linen Thread was wrapped around twice and tied into a bow with a sentiment attached using Foam Adhesive Strips.  A card base was created using Pebbled Path card stock with a piece of Designer Paper from Nature's Sweetness Specialty Paper trimmed to allow a 1/8" border on all sides.  The card topper was then adhered to the card front.  Three Iridescent Gold Foil Gems were added to complete the front.

For the inside, I trimmed a piece of Basic White card stock and stamped the large floral image in the bottom right corner and glued this in.
