Sending Love featuring Country Flowers Stamp Set for Colour INKspiraton Challenge #171

 Hi there and welcome!

Today I'm sharing a card I've created for Colour INKspiration Challenge #171.  The inspiration photo was chosen by fellow  Crew Member, Vicki Boucher and has a bit of a vintage kick to it.  Our Guest Designer is the AH-MAY-ZING Jay Soriano from Mitosu Crafts.  I can't wait to see what everyone has created.

Having so many pink/purple tones, I decided to go with florals for my card and chose to showcase the Country Flowers Stamp Set.  I also hadn't given the Deckled Circle Dies enough attention since purchasing and got them out with a plan to make a simple aperture card.  This card measures 4 1/2" x 9" and scored at 4 1/2", the matting layer is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" and the aperture piece measures 3 1/4" x 3 1/4".  The image was stamped on a scrap of Basic White using Early Espresso ink and once the image was coloured, was trimmed down to measure 3 1/8" x 3 1/8" to fit under the aperture piece. The aperture was attached using Dimensionals.

The sentiment comes from the same Stamp Set and was also stamped in Early Espresso ink on Basic White card stock then fussy cut.  This was attached to the card front using a Mini Dimensional on the end under 'Sending' and a drop of glue under 'love'.
