Stamp Your Own Patterned Paper - Colour INKspiration Challenge #174

 

 

Hello and welcome!  And thanks for popping in!

Let me share with you my latest project created for Colour INKspiration Challenge #174.  The colour palette is a soft feminine, romantic one of teals, purples and pinks.  Our inspiration photo was chosen by fellow Crew Member, Vicki Boucher and our Guest Designer this time round is the amazing Heidi van den Heuvel from De Stempelkat and I hope you will go and check out all the projects everyone has created and be inspired here on Facebook.  My project is inspired by the talented Ruth Trice from Artful Stampin With Ruth.  This is her brainchild and I highly recommend you go and watch her videos on You Tube as I am always in awe at her creativity with just stamps and ink.

Using three stamp sets (trust me, that doesn't happen too often) and the colours of the Challenge plus Smoky Slate for some background stamping, I stamped in a cross formation with the idea of creating four card fronts.

 

SUPPLIES:

• Stamp Sets:  You Are Beautiful, Textured Flora, Regal Flora
• Inks:  Smoky Slate, Bubble Bath, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Pool Party
• Card Stock:  Basic White (stamping), Basic White Thick, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Pool Party (card bases)

Just a reminder to use ALL the Challenge colours unless stated. If you don’t have the colours in our palette, feel free to use the closest Stampin’ Up! substitute – Fresh Freesia instead of Bubble Bath for example. We also allow Ivory, Bronze and Natural Tones in the Stampin' Blends and Neutrals such as Basic White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Basic Beige and Metallics.
